How my obsession with lampwork beads began.

Hi there, my name is Vicky and live near the Malvern Hills in lovely rural Worcestershire. I have always loved wearing jewellery and many years ago started buying beads from local beads shops and making necklaces and bracelets.

About 4 years ago I started making and selling jewellery to friends and family members, this soon took me into selling jewellery at local craft fairs and coffee mornings. In my search for new beads I stumbled upon lampwork beads. I soon discovered so many amazing beads that people created. I found myself buying  beads to make jewellery for myself.

I began to get  more and more curious about how the beads are created so I decided that I would learn and start to make my own beads. After going to a few bead fairs and speaking with people I decided to go for it and set up with the equipment to make beads.

That was in April 2008 and here I am with a website!
